Young Creatives Collective: Community as a Superpower

As part of the 2025 Refugee Week celebrations, we collaborated on creating work exploring and celebrating community and our networks. We made a photo booth and invited our community to come and create collaborative self-portraits. The work was then exhibited at the De La Warr and Flatlands in Bexhill with the title ‘community as a super power’.

YCC is a long-term mentoring project now in its third year organsised by The Peter Marklow Foundation, supporting young people with lived experience of being refugees or migrants to explore their creativity and achieve their educational and career ambitions.
