2024 Round Up

It’s been years since I have done these and is my first since returning to photography. Here is a small round up of the images that reflect my work in 2024.

Some career highlights this year include winning the student award at Photo North Fest, starting a new collective - the Photographers’ Print Cooperative, taking part in the Canon Student Development Programme. I finished my Caeadda project which was exhibited in Machynlleth and published in the Guardian and an image from my WIP Pride In Football project was included in the Portrait Of Britain vol 7 book.

I have been given a lot of help and support from lots of people so massive thanks to all of you and especially Grace.

Anyway less bla more pics.

My ’Caeadda’ project was finished (for now) last summer. I have included images here found in the folders previously unpublished or ones I particularly like:

My ‘Pride In Football’ project about LGBTQ+ football fans is still in full flow. I have some more groups to photograph and will soon start putting a dummy book together soon.

I have been working hard on a project about indeterminate IPP prison sentences, where people are imprisoned indefinitely for convictions worth nothing close to the amount of time served. For example, I have been working with a person who has done 17 of the last 20 years in prison for threatening someone with a bottle when homeless. The project is being supported by the Institute of Now and will be exhibited this summer alongside an online interactive piece combining photography and filmed testimonials. Watch this space.

Thanks for looking, have a good year.
